These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CoupleMoney (the "app", "we", "us"), a shared ledger and schedule app for couples. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
CoupleMoney lets two connected users record and view shared income, expenses, and schedule events. The app does not connect to any bank, card, or financial institution — all amounts and entries are manually entered by users.
You create an account using Sign in with Apple. You may connect with one partner using a 6-digit invite code to form a "couple." Once connected, both members can view and manage the same ledger, schedule, and category data. Invite codes expire after 24 hours and can be regenerated.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the amounts, memos, categories, and schedule entries you record. CoupleMoney is a personal record-keeping tool and does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice of any kind.
Ledger and schedule entries belong to the couple as a shared record, not to the individual who created them. If one partner disconnects or deletes their account, previously shared entries remain visible to the other partner. Disconnecting or deleting your account does not delete your partner's access to that shared history.
You may disconnect from your partner or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal account information and cannot be undone.
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to access another user's account without authorization, interfering with the app's normal operation, or using the app for any unlawful purpose.
CoupleMoney is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost, and we recommend keeping your own records of important financial information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on data recorded in the app.
We may update these Terms or change, suspend, or discontinue features of the app at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
